Status of the Beeliar Village market
Further to our disappointing start to 2021, the club had decided to host the next Market on Sunday 7th March which will be the final market.
Unfortunately the market isn't being supported by the Cockburn community which makes the event a real challenge for the Rotarians to get up enough oomph to do the next one.
As an aging club, this is our main issue. We will look for new opportunities in the coming months.
A suggestion put forward is to shift the market to Manning Park, 2-3 times a year. Food vendors to be allowed and a time frame of 9:00 to 3:00.
